Can the Gefore GT220 run WoW?

Can it? It is 1GB DDR2.

I have been getting some BSOD though so Would this be a better graphic card to replace it with?

http://www.bestbuy.com/site/XFX+-+ATI+Radeon+HD+4890+1GB+DDR5+PCI+Express+2.0+Graphics+Card/9566025.p?id=1218125775469&skuId=9566025&st=Keyword%20or%20Item%20#ATI%20Radeon%E2%84%A2%205700|||The 4890 is a much, much better card that the GT220. The GT220 is an underclocked 9600GSO, which was a 8800GS, which is around the ATI 2900XT/3850/4670 level. both will run WoW fine. If your only going to be playing WoW i would get the GT220 due to it being quieter cooler and drawing less power than the 4890. its also a lot smaller, and only takes up one slot in your computer.|||Well... go to worldofwarcraft.com and download the 10day trial and you will find out for your self :) its what i did and it worked for me it will take on a highspeed computer like 10mins to download on a slow pc like 4hrs Also you cannot just shove a graphics card into your computer if u do you may not have enough power source in your hardware and your computer will fry and be garbadge|||assuming your computer is a desktop, yea BUT here is the kicker.

like the other guy said there is a strong chance you'll need another power supply to go along with that graphics card, Big video cards these days are computers in and of themselves and require a c@#$ load of power to run.

however a GT220 is a pretty sorry a@# card when it gets down to it, so really something like a 9800GT E2 model would be perfect.

i know they sell those at bestbuy, i just took one back BECAUSE it didn't have a power connector, and the one i had for building a friends computer did so i wanted the older one with a power connector (was running a Sli system that uses two graphics cards)

But that 9800GT would be a Mighty perfect fit for someone in your situation, (if you cant afford to replace the PSU unit) and that 9800GT would kick *** through wow, if it two of them plays l4d2 at 70fps maxed out with even more graphics forced enabled lol. i played on his system with just the single 9800GT and it still pumped l4d2 at max settings 1680x1050 16xAA 16xAF

Matter of fact, here it is on the website

I dont know why it says it needs power connectors, if it has that PE (Power efficient) on the box, it doesn't need the power connectors, Thats how they got me. I needed a non PE model, which they didn't have any more. So i ended up purchasing it from newegg.

but again in your situation having the power efficient model would be a benefit.

Hope some of this helps.
