What card is equivalent to NVIDIA GeForce GT220?

i heard its the same as an 9500 GS, if so how good is that card then?|||GT series is NVIDIA's next generation of video cards proceeding the 9xxx series. How good is this card? Not really. Just for office work, and blah. If you want to game, edit video, etc, go for a GT29x series (GeForce GT295 for example) or GeForce 98xx series. For the older series, look at the last three digits; if it begins with something less than 6 (e.g the 9500) it's no good and its just for office work. 6 and higher is for high performance. for the new series, look at the last two digits. if it starts with anything above 2 (e.g the GT295), it's good.|||Equivalent card? Mmmmm, like a GeForce 9500, or a Radeon HD3850.

In otherwords, it doesn't take much to compare to that game graphics requirement!

I hope your question is in reference to a desktop computer, as Very FEW laptops have a graphics card. They have a Graphics Chip, and this is soldered to the motherboard. There is NO changing it!

(Bummer, huh?)

As for an economical, but graphics worthy graphics card, I would suggest this,

http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/…

(128 Stream Processors.

Stream Processors, can be thought of as the 'Graphics Information Highway'

Too little a highway, and traffic slows down. Just like road construction on an 8 lane highway. The 8 lanes are melded down into 2 lanes, and traffic slows Way Down! Have enough Stream Processors, and graphics information traffic goes back and forth to the processor with NO Prob!)|||its the same as a 9500gt.

but for gaming, its extremely low-end
