i want to replace my gt220 with a 100$ gpu.....will hd6670 be a good choice ?how much will be the performence improvement ?|||Don't get me wrong, the 6670 will waste the GT 220.
The $100 pricetag is one that gets me. I've seen faster cards like the GTS 450 and sometimes a 5770 or 6770 go on sale for that price. Right now, I can find a 6770 for $120 at newegg. If your power supply can't support these cards then don't worry about it. Otherwise, the 6770 is worth the extra $20.|||The HD 6670 is about 3 times faster than a GT220. You should see around a 10~15+ fps increase in performance.
